I can tell you how many times I’ve gotten new clients in that think the workout is going to make them lose wait while they continue to eat like crap. 
Almost every personal trainer in Signal Hill is going to tell you exactly how many calories you have to eat and when you have to eat them if you want to be lean.
You can do as many extra crunches at the end of a workout,but the truth is your abs are mad in the kitchen not in your workout.
The less flab you have around your body,the more muscle is going to be seen.
If you are trying to get lean but you don’t know how many calories are going into your body,your probably just gonna lose 5 pounds or maybe gain 5 pounds.
You can run up Signal Hill and lift weights for 2 hours,drink all of the shakes,do all of the cleanses and your body fat is still probably going to stay high.
So many people stop training with personal trainers in Signal Hill and say their just gonna go on a diet and end up losing weight and I’m happy for them.
But most of the time,there going from a big fat person to a little fat person because all they are losing is muscle and not fat.
There’s no use in just cutting your calories without having the proper macro nutrient ratio.
That means having the most efficient percentages of carbohydrates,proteins,and fats.
If you don’t eat enough protein,your gonna lose muscle and end up looking like a smaller version of what you were before.
If you don’t have enough fat,you’re never going to be satisfied and end up over eating.
And if you don’t have enough carbohydrates,you’re gonna be walking around like a pissed off zombie.
So don’t blame your Signal Hill group workout if you’re not losing weight,and don’t automatically assume there is something wrong with your body if you haven’t been eating the correct amount of calories for 4 to 6 weeks consistently.

Cell phones,fax machines,facebook,and the internet all have contributed to us losing touch with our bodies.
You can do any workout you want:P90x,Insanity,my workout,or someone else”s magic bullet workout but the truth is if you don’t know how much to eat and when,your wasting alot of your time.
Here is a secret that most trainers either don’t know or they don’t want to tell you:
The main reason why it is important to workout is because of the hormonal release you receive from your body fighting off the stress you are inducing on it.
For example,I run 1 mile,my body releases dopamine and serotonin to feel better.
When you feel better,you make better choices when it comes time to eat and go on throughout the rest of your day.
The workout makes you conscious of your body and what is going into it.
The end result is you lose weight.
Not so much from the workout,but from the decisions you made after the workout.
Most of the time we aren’t motivated to eat well if we aren’t working out.
There is a small community of people who can (this isn’t me),but this is rare and it takes discipline and knowledge.
